About the Event
There is a small lot (6 spaces) and people also park on the street. In addition, there is a lot across the street. This is a large property that has many trails on it including the Shenipsit Trail.
The first thing you will see is Case Pond and the stone (man-made) waterfall.
We will start by taking the Carriage Path (white blaze) up the mountain to the vista view of the City of Hartford referred to as “Lookout Mountain”. This first hill is the hardest part of this 3.2+ mile hike.
