Home of the National Champion UConn men’s and women’s basketball teams with more than 16,000 fan seats, the 39-year-old XL Center arena in downtown Hartford, Connecticut desperately needed a facelift. The premier sports and entertainment venue was renovated at its concourse and locker rooms to add warmth and accommodate UConn’s ever-growing fan base.
