As Higgins largest project to date, Yale-New Haven Hospital sought out to provide a state-of-the-art healthcare facility entirely dedicated to treating cancer. The 500,000 square foot cancer center is committed to making sure that each patient has an outstanding and positive cancer care experience. To do this, intricate designs were hand cut and placed in several patient areas to enhance the overall patient experience. Rubber flooring was installed in operating areas to provide underfoot comfort for staff while meeting strict sterile requirements.
